The Tamworth Pistol Club has six outdoor ranges and an indoor air pistol / rifle range.
Air Pistol/Air Rifle Range
15 bay, 10 metre range equipped with electric returning targets.
Range 1
25 metre general purpose range mostly used for Single Action
Firearm Category:
- Pistol up to .45 cal
- Rifle (pistol cal. only)
- Shotgun (target loading)
Competition program: 2nd Sunday of the month
Range 2
25 metre equipped with two sets of electronically timed targets
Used for:
- Centre fire, standard, sport, rapid fire, and 25 yard service

- .22 R.F. Pistol
- Centre fire pistol up to .38 cal
- Lighting for night shooting
Range 3
25 metre equipped with two sets of electronically timed targets
Used for:
- Centre fire, standard, sport, rapid fire, and 25 yard service

Range 4
100 metre with target frames set at 25, 50, and 100 metres (note: this range is temporarily limited to 50 metre due to earthworks). This range is equipped with manually resetting Falling Plate targets for that match.

- 50 metre Free pistol
- Black powder
- Metallic silhouette
- S.S.A.A. Lever action rifle - First Sunday in the month

Range 5
50 metres This range is set up for Service Pistol, Service Unrestricted, and 25 Yard Service Pistol matches with five sets of electronically timed turning targets. It caters for the WA 1500 Match also.

100 metre rifle range
Firearm Category:
- Rifle jacketed projectiles up to 8 mm may be used at reduced velocity
Note: All shots fired on this range must go into the bullet stop bunker.
